Pin Oak Pottery creates wheel thrown and hand-built pottery using high-fired stoneware. We specialize in unique, creative, imaginative, one-of-a-kind pieces. Earthy glazes highlight the textured and smooth surfaces. Mask are created using the "minds-eye". All pieces are hand-created and will vary in color and size. Each high-fired piece can be used in the microwave, oven and dishwasher.
Each design starts from a ball of stoneware clay thrown on the potters wheel or rolled from the slab wheel. After designing the clay piece it is dried thoroughly and fired to 1808 degrees, lead free glazes are applied then the pottery is fired to 2208 degrees creating a vitrified product.
If you are searching for an unusal piece of pottery then visit our Gallery section or email us with your request. Pieces are added periodically. Our entire product line can not be shown. Thank you for viewing.
